The paintings on my site are the work of Angela Meijer. Angela lives in northern California but we became friends 10 years ago in Amsterdam. Angela was beginning her art career then and I was the creative director at our church. Our conversations often focused on how God was working in our art and in our hearts, intertwining to inspire us onward. Visiting with Angela always breathed energy into my piano playing and creativity into my spiritual life.
I’ve missed those visits since Angela moved away. But when she sent the link to her website and I saw her latest artwork, it felt like she was in my living room once again. Beauty, inspiration, heart connection, energy were reignited. Back was the familiar overlap of God’s corresponding movements in our two separate lives.
I’m thrilled to be able to highlight Angela’s artwork on my site. Each painting speaks into its corresponding Going Deeper Theme and I invite you to explore the connection. To see her artwork in a larger size, just click on the painting. Please visit www.angelameijer.com to learn more about her art.
Graphic Design
Jeff Plowman graciously agreed to take on DeeperDevotion’s graphic design before either of us knew how big a project it would be. Jeff lives in Paris where he is part of the team who is planting Vintage Church. He has brought his intuition and artistry to this site, making a lasting mark on Deeper Devotion’s ministry.
Web Design
Kelly Crull is far from what you might expect in a web designer. A gifted writer and worship leader, a skilled communicator and a patient coach, Kelly understands what DeeperDevotion is all about. He led me through many brain-stretching sessions to envision what this site could become, and he’s been indispensable in bringing it into being.
Gratitude is too small a word to express my appreciation to these friends! You’ve given your all and the website reflects the unique qualities each one of you has brought to it. Mucho gracias. Merci beaucoup. Thanks a million!
